I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Nebraska- Lincoln at the School of Natural Resources. I am working with Jenny Dauer researching decision-making in the context of complex socio-scientific issues. This research seeks to refine a model of post-secondary multidisciplinary science instruction that supports development of students' science literacy. I seek to evaluate the impact of this educational model on student decision-making and reasoning about socio-scientific issues. I received my PhD in 2017 with a focus on Human Behavioral Ecology from Rutgers University, The State University of New Jersey in the Graduate Program in Ecology and Evolution in the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences.
